Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to provide clients with accurate advice.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and recommendations.
- Oversee the work of junior tax staff and provide mentorship and training as needed.
- Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications and accurate reporting.
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- BS Accounting + MS accounting preferred
- CPA OR Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is required.
- 6+ years of experience in tax preparation and review preferred
- Strong experience with 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s
- Required experience with Stock Plans, RSUs, Equity Stock Comp Packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
