As a key member of our response team, you will play a vital role in helping homeowners navigate the complex process of filing and processing insurance claims, ensuring they receive the support they need to get back on their feet.

What You'll Do:

As a Customer Support Specialist – Disaster Response and Recovery, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing compassionate support to homeowners in distress, listening to their concerns, and offering guidance and reassurance during a difficult time
  • Assisting with documenting damages and submitting insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Answering questions and offering clear guidance on the claims process, demystifying complex procedures and alleviating anxiety
  • Collaborating with local teams and insurance representatives to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of claims

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and empathy skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
  • The capacity to remain calm and helpful during stressful situations, maintaining a professional demeanor even in the face of adversity
  • Previous experience in customer service, claims, or disaster response is a plus, but not required – we're looking for individuals with a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Availability to work flexible hours for the duration of the program, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
