Experienced Customer Service Agent – Remedy On-Call (Part Time) Supporting Physician Practices

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent to join our Remedy On-Call team on a part-time basis. As a remote worker, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support over the phone via real-time/live conversations with clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and attention to detail. Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Agent on our Remedy On-Call team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming client calls, taking messages, and verifying all information in the message is correct
  • Scheduling patient appointments as requested
  • Dispatching calls to the appropriate medical practice following proper protocol
  • Representing our customers professionally and providing courteous service during incoming calls
  • Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address client issues in the most efficient way possible

How You'll Perform Essential Functions:

* 80% of your work will be performed via real-time/live conversations with clients via telephone and chat

  • All work will be performed via computer, using various software programs, including Google suite of products, Salesforce CRM, JIRA ticketing system, and Office Practicum EHR
  • Telephone will be used in all client interactions

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and speaking skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team
  • Attention to detailed information on computer screen
  • Ability to correctly spell medical terminology
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible
  • Active listening skills – strong proficiency
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to type 35-40 wpm
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Education and Certifications:

* High school or equivalent (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

* This is a work-from-home position that requires: + High-speed internet connection + Wired headset

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

* A quiet workspace is required, with a secure, quiet distraction-free environment without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift

  • Computer and telephone work in a remote office setting
  • Lifting requirements of no more than five pounds
