Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Operator – Database Management and Customer Information Maintenance at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output to ensure data integrity
  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, using various resources and tools
  • Scanning documents and printing files as needed, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data security policies
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files, providing excellent customer service and support
  • Complying with data integrity and security policies, ensuring the proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong understanding of data management principles
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs, including spreadsheets and online forms
  • Familiarity with administrative duties, including customer service and communication
  • Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
