Experienced Customer Service Associate – Onsite Store Consultant at blithequark

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing responsive service that enhances the delivery of blithequark's products and services. You will interact with customers, vendors, and team members on a daily basis, working with minimal supervision to accomplish established business objectives. Your consultative approach will help grow revenue through customer education of business solutions and product offerings, while also identifying and growing new and existing customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate – Onsite Store Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating consultative behaviors to ensure friendly, polite, and expert service is delivered to all customers
  • Growing revenue through customer education of business solutions and product offerings
  • Taking customer orders, giving pricing information, and recommending blithequark products and services
  • Using a consultative selling approach to identify and grow new and existing customer accounts
  • Project hunting for new business on site as appropriate to the onsite location
  • Identifying and growing new and existing onsite customer accounts using resources available
  • Funneling customer program work into the blithequark network as appropriate
  • Responsible for customer retention/recovery activities
  • Managing bid follow up and consulting on complex orders
  • Implementing onsite marketing programs as appropriate
  • Producing complex orders, prioritizing production, performing quality checks, and coordinating pick-ups and deliveries
  • Maintaining and regularly updating customer data base and other systems and reports as required
  • Performing administrative duties, including ordering supplies and inventory controls
  • Utilizing knowledge of on-site pricing and contractual obligations
  • Meeting the on-site guidelines (safety training, background check, and any other requirements)
  • Following blithequark standard operating procedures as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • May assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent education

  • 1+ year of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods

  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the blithequark business
