Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Product Operations Specialist – Land Seller Management and Customer Support, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Managing land seller profiles in our visit management system, including merchant settlement data, parent/chain connections, and stock portions, where relevant
  • Setting up and maintaining all pricing and selling rules for all direct land merchants
  • Setting up design and rules for all electronically associated sellers
  • Managing land item work for new destinations
  • Screening land items for severe weather and suggesting and setting up mitigation strategies where necessary
  • Participating in the investigation of visit management system technology issues, and external technology associations (e.g., IBS and HotelBeds); acting as a contact with external suppliers where necessary
  • Providing pricing and objective data to marketing materials
  • Collaborating with Product Development team on individual seller issues requiring clarity and resolution, as well as assisting with hotel oversell circumstances
  • Assisting other SCA divisions with questions or issues related to destinations and land item offerings
  • Furnishing and assisting SCA offices with customer resolution for land items on a case-by-case basis
  • Collaborating with Product Development to create and meet yearly open for sale (OFS) schedule
  • Assisting Product Activities Facilitator with lodging stock management, land reporting, and other tasks as necessary
  • Assisting with emergency management for catastrophic events and crisis situations
  • Establishing and encouraging entrusting associations with partners at all levels
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with intelligent solutions
  • Meticulous and highly organized
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Viewpoint

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 2 years of experience in travel or hospitality

  • Knowledge of arenaflex projects, strategies, and systems
  • Knowledge of arenaflex Reservation systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI

Work Environment

This role works in a professional office environment. This job regularly uses standard office equipment like computers, phones, scanners, and file organizers.
