Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Data Engineer to lead the development and management of our information pipelines. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with our data warehouse, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet their data needs. Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and manage our information pipelines, ensuring all client event data is consistently ingested into our data warehouse.
- Create authoritative datasets to track key product metrics, including customer growth, engagement, and revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Foundation, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research, to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
- Develop and implement robust and fault-tolerant frameworks for data ingestion and processing.
- Participate in data architecture and design decisions, bringing expertise and insights to the table.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3).
- Familiarity with ETL schedulers like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of data storage and retrieval systems, including databases and data warehouses.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data processing workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud-based data processing platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
