Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our experts, data scientists, and engineers to develop and deploy AI and machine learning models that detect and prevent cyber threats. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data analysis and model development to deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deploy AI and machine learning models to detect and prevent cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions
- Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large datasets
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- Work with security threat experts to understand cyberattack strategies and develop security models
- Present results and findings to senior client partners and stakeholders
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers on data science and machine learning best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and advancements in AI and machine learning
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in information science, including data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
- 2+ years of programming experience in Python or Scala
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Doctorate in Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and threat models
