Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Custom Circuits Design Engineer to join our ASIC development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing custom circuits that meet the needs of our cutting-edge products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that your designs meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop custom circuits for ASICs, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators

• Collaborate with power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications
• Perform plan, analysis, modeling, and simulation, as well as circuit-level design, schematic capture, and spice simulation
• Work closely with the format team to complete the design and ensure design quality
• Create and drive circuit procedures to achieve the highest design quality metrics
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet the highest standards of quality and performance

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

• At least 3 years of experience in custom circuit design and development
• Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior
• Experience with low-voltage and low-power custom circuit design
• Familiarity with industry-standard circuit and design tools
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, or others
• Experience with CAD tools and design automation software

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/strong inversion circuits, super low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and advanced on-chip sensors

• Strong understanding of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-accuracy circuits
• Experience with silicon debug, assembly, and analysis of data; and use of pre-processing to support effective treatment of ATE data
• Familiarity with mixed-signal design and verification
• Experience with design for testability (DFT) and design for manufacturability (DFM)
