Data Quality Analyst – Remote Work
Job Summary IBM is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple systems, helping IBM make data-driven decisions that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining high-quality data standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to maintain high-quality datasets.
- Collaborate with data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Develop and implement data quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes to monitor data health.
- Support data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with IBM’s data policies and standards.
- Assist in the design and execution of data quality improvement projects.
- Document data issues, root causes, and remediation plans for continuous improvement.
- Perform regular audits and reconcile data discrepancies across multiple sources.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of data quality concepts, data profiling, and data validation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing priorities effectively. Experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data quality analysis, data management, or a related field.
- Experience in handling large datasets and performing data reconciliation across multiple systems.
- Prior exposure to data governance and data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Collibra) is an advantage. Working Hours
- Full-time, remote position.
- Flexible working hours, with occasional alignment to global team schedules.
