As a Supply Chain Engineer, you'll work closely with Product Directors and Configuration Architects to determine Google's infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work will ensure that the different components of Google's framework fit together seamlessly and keep our systems running smoothly for a consistent user experience.

About the Role

In this role, you'll travel to work on-site with providers and offer remote support for pre-production prototypes. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about designing and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. Key Responsibilities

* Lead surveys among Design and Manufacturing Engineering to drive expectations that are critical to executing Design for Greatness (DFX) and test procedure.

  • Ensure plant availability, support manufacturing line ramp, provide product investigation training, and build feedback on form issues.
  • Manage the bill of materials and drive yield span analysis to improve product quality.
  • Work with the Product team to identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers to establish product quality and reliability targets.
  • Approve product capability plans, support reliability testing, and review results to ensure product performance meets requirements.
  • Coordinate the arrival of New Product Introduction (NPI) Bills of Materials (BOMs) into Product Information Management (PDM) framework.
  • Support second-source part qualification and arrival of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs).

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on supply chain management and quality assurance.
  • Experience working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and component suppliers for server farm-class server components (e.g., GPU, FPGA, or ASIC).
  • Strong understanding of ASIC DFT and ATE test processes, as well as post-silicon validation.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and scripting in Python or Bash.

Preferred Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on supply chain management and quality assurance.

  • Experience making and executing a test plan for a complex electronic assembly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
