Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for supporting the Hong Kong Purchasing Office purchasing team in the organization's support, data entry of orders into internal systems, and running pre-set reports to gain market insights. You'll manage the Corporate Import Demand process from start to finish, ensuring that all new orders, order modifications, and new supplier account arrangements are accurate and up-to-date. You'll also serve as a liaison between various departments, including Worldwide Purchasing Workplaces, to resolve issues and facilitate PO processing.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan orders, order amendments, and new supplier account arrangements with all the necessary import data

  • Achieve weekly schedules for order completion
  • Pack data and ensure established rules are complied with
  • Communicate orders consistently, and maintain the quality of results and practicality of work
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to gather and enter data required to produce a PO
  • Raise system issues to the relevant teams and follow up with them when necessary
  • Regularly update all relevant teams on project/task status and ensure all tasks are completed within the required time period
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist colleagues as needed, such as in cases of absence from the office

Work Requirements

* At least 2 years of administrative experience

  • New graduates will be considered
  • HKDSE or HKCEE or above
  • Conversational English skills; other languages or Chinese dialects an asset
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build both internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work independently, tackle problems, suggest, and implement solutions
  • Detailed, inquisitive, clear communicator, and demonstrates drive
