Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Data Insights team. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to drive business decisions, develop and maintain data visualizations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and analytical individual to join our team and contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough analyses, develop data-driven insights, create high-impact recommendations, and deliver precise results to stakeholders
- Present findings with a clear perspective and compelling narrative to inform business decisions
- Design, develop, and maintain adaptable self-service tools and dashboards that align with departmental objectives, enabling cross-functional teams to access data and identify key insights
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Configuration teams to identify areas of opportunity, develop and execute follow-up plans for the toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with data
- Train departmental colleagues on analysis best practices, technical skills, and developments in our organization's data engineering
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or other quantitative and analytical fields
- 2+ years of work experience in a related field, preferably in business analysis, operations, startup/tech, or marketing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience
- Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated experience using data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and drive business outcomes
- Proficiency in SQL/Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with Python/Git is a plus, but not required
