Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Answer questions about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions, and provide guidance on how to navigate the healthcare system
- Make phone calls to members to discuss their benefits, answer questions, and provide support
- Use problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and provide solutions to members
- Collaborate with internal teams, including healthcare professionals and insurance experts, to provide comprehensive support to members
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare and insurance policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate and informed support to members
Qualifications
* 1 year of customer interaction experience, preferably in a call center, retail, customer service, hospitality industry, or military setting
- Computer experience with Windows-based applications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to solve problems in a positive and constructive manner
- Comfortable working with patients in a helpful way that shows interest in improving their quality of life
- Reliability and compliance with certain standards
- Patience and understanding, able to convey trust and confidence
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone communication and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a healthcare or insurance setting
- Knowledge of healthcare and insurance policies, procedures, and regulations
- Certification in customer service or a related field
