Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for processing new patient enrollments, handling patient medication requests, and entering refill orders for processing. You will also investigate missing medication data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve any data entry-related exceptions. Additionally, you will handle correspondence with patients, settle on outbound calls to prescribers and patients, and provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's pharmacy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate missing medication data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve any data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence with patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and settle on outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
  • Settle on phone calls to support plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the Outsider Oddballs.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations.
  • Recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as fitting.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or computer science).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Basic web search skills, including opening a browser, composing URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, and navigating using back/forward/stop buttons.
  • Transitional-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging reports).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least one year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Transitional to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
