Job Summary

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to tackle some of the most complex business challenges by extracting insights from our vast global data repository. You'll work closely with our data specialists to design and implement advanced data models, develop predictive analytics, and drive business decisions that impact our operations at scale. This is a part-time, remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to a global team of experts.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement advanced data models to extract insights from our global data repository

• Collaborate with data specialists to design and execute data collection strategies, leveraging various data sources and tools
• Lead exploratory research, including hypothesis testing, statistical induction, and predictive analysis
• Work with business and technical partners to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions
• Create and maintain data pipelines, tools, and instruments to monitor, analyze, and improve model performance and data accuracy
• Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms, such as SVM, Random Forest, and Bayesian inference
• Design and implement data visualization dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
• Proven track record of developing and deploying predictive models using machine learning algorithms
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, regression, and time series analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Familiarity with programming languages, including Python, R, and SQL
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

• Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools, such as Informatica or Talend
• Certification in data science, machine learning, or a related field
• Strong understanding of business operations and market trends in the retail industry
