Job Description

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Your primary focus will be on data entry, complex business transformations, and end-user reporting. You will work closely with experts, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide scientific support.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with specialists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide scientific support

• Influence code to investigate complex datasets and configure, create, and assess data transformations to tackle explicit business issues
• Assemble adaptable, proficient, and automated data cycles to facilitate client-facing reporting
• Automate TA cycles to streamline business activities
• Communicate verbally or in writing to business clients/leaders to share insights and recommendations

Essential Capabilities

* Four-year degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, finance, economics, engineering, or computer science

• 3 years of experience in data querying languages (e.g., SQL), pre-processing languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
• 3 years of experience in AI/factual modeling data analysis tools and methods, and boundaries that influence their performance
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied context

Favored Capabilities

* Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, finance, economics, engineering, or computer science

• Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology organization

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling

• Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL), pre-processing languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
• Experience with AI/factual modeling data analysis tools and methods
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
