Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Work-at-Home Customer Service Representatives. As a representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and assisting customers in adding or removing products and services. This is a full-time and part-time opportunity, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat

  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide resolutions to customers
  • Assist customers in adding or removing products and services
  • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks
  • Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade
  • Explain and position products and processes with customers
  • Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction with managerial team
  • Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling

Essential Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20 words per minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service-oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service or sales experience

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with call center software and technology
  • Basic knowledge of technical support and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues

Physical Requirements

* This job operates in a professional office environment, with minimal physical demands

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset
  • Regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer

Conditions of Employment
