Job Overview:

As an independent contractor participating in arenaflex's Intuit TurboTax program, you will provide customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat. Your interactions will focus on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. In this role, you will provide an empathetic approach to customer interactions, leveraging critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities and escalating when necessary.

Schedule:

* Seasonal contract: This contract runs through April 15th, 2024.

• Flexible schedule opportunities: Create your own schedule and work at times that suit you best.
• Available hours: Schedule available hours between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday - Sunday.
• Weekday and weekend options: Enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to work on your terms.

Compensation:

* Earn up to $19 per hour: Competitive hourly rate for your expertise and dedication.

• Peak rates apply: Earn higher rates during peak times (January - April).
• Average earnings: Contractors on this program who meet or exceed key metrics earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times.

Required Skills:

• Tech savvy and avid computer user: Proficiency in using computers and navigating multiple systems.
• Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems: Effective time management and organizational skills.

Technology & Equipment Requirements:

* Personal computer: A dedicated computer for work purposes (no tablet).

• Broadband internet connection: A reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS.
• Wired internet connection: A wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet).
• Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system: A compatible operating system for our software.
• Valid antivirus software: Up-to-date antivirus software installed and running.
• USB headset with microphone: A high-quality headset for clear communication.
• Webcam: A webcam will be loaned to each contractor for the duration of the contract.

Work Environment Requirements:

* Quiet, uninterrupted space: A dedicated workspace with minimal distractions.

• Organized desk area: A tidy and organized workspace for efficient work.
• Professional appearance: A professional appearance when on camera.

Important Information:
