Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for routine customer requests and queries related to audits. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers, responding to their queries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal customers, while developing an understanding of their service needs
  • Coordinating request activities with various departments, including Underwriting, Billing, Premium Audit, and Claims, to ensure efficient and quality service
  • Completing basic research around customer queries and requests, and identifying and engaging the appropriate department, individual, or escalation path when necessary
  • Routing requests and submissions using appropriate systems for assignment and resolution, and accurately documenting required transactions and customer interactions
  • Identifying gaps in workflow and making recommendations for process improvements
  • Upholding our customer care standards by achieving individual goals, such as work quality, phone and email handle time, adherence, and reliability

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant customer service or administrative experience
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, structured teamwork environment
  • Intermediate-level skills in using the Microsoft Office suite, including documents, spreadsheets, email, and various applications/systems
  • The ability to effectively exchange routine and non-routine information verbally and in writing, and apply knowledge of the department's policies and procedures
  • A dedicated room with a desk, safe, quiet, professional working environment, and wired-connected high-speed internet with a minimum of >25 MBps Download speed >5 MBps Upload speed through a cable, fiber, or DSL service

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-8:00 pm EST, and we require our employees to be flexible and available to work within these hours, plus some holidays. Attendance is critical to your success, and we expect 100% attendance during training and throughout your career.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range for this role, with a starting salary of $47,400. Our compensation package includes:

  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off
