What You'll Do

As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical services related to psychotropic medications and providing consultations and recommendations to prescribers when necessary. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing clinical services related to psychotropic medications and providing consultations and recommendations to prescribers when necessary.
  • Collaborating with prescribers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of clinical services.
  • Contributing to the development of plan benefit design and formulary management strategies.
  • Ensuring 100% dedication to the Contract and meeting all contractual obligations.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy and drug products information to support plan benefit design.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting formulary, PA, benefits design, and clinical information.
  • A PharmD degree with a current active Pharmacist license in Maryland (or shall be acquired within 6 months of System implementation).
  • Previous experience in PRO and RETRO-DUR.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy and drug products information to support plan benefit design.
  • Specialized training in psychotropic medications, including BCPP certification (Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacy).
