Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service & Data Entry Representative, you'll be responsible for providing administrative and staff support services to our claims coordination team. Your primary duties will include:

  • Data entry of claims information into our claims management systems
  • Following up on missing information to process claims efficiently
  • Reviewing invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Compiling reports from systems with claims information
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and internal stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 6-12 months of work experience in a customer service or data entry role
  • Basic computer and typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in the insurance industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of claims management systems and processes
  • Certification in customer service or data entry (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES))
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
