Job Overview

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and processing of new and existing specialty drug orders, including checking benefits and ensuring timely fulfillment. You will also assist patients in interpreting and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy data system, communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless order processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional phone support to patients, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Coordinate and process new and existing specialty drug orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment
  • Check benefits and verify patient information to ensure seamless order processing
  • Assist patients in interpreting and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy data system
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and collaborate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve issues
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and resolve any issues that may arise

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and web navigation
  • Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to navigate multiple software systems
