Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex pricing and underwriting models using advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, and SAS to analyze large datasets and provide insights to inform business decisions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, reporting, operations, business development, and sales, to drive business growth and improve pricing mechanisms. Analyze data and identify trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management on pricing and underwriting strategies. Prepare executive-level documentation, including pricing concept memos and financial metric recommendations. Present pricing concept suggestions, data analysis, and financial models to management and leadership on a regular basis. Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain sophisticated forecasting and underwriting models, including pivot tables, macros, and formula auditing. Apply intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Access, SAS, and SQL to query and analyze large and complex datasets. Track, analyze, and report on automation efforts and process improvements to enhance current pricing mechanisms. Identify and solve pricing issues through analysis of internal and external data.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Business, Actuarial Science, or Pharmacoeconomics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to executives and leaders. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Contracting, Finance, Account Management, or Pricing. Experience in data analysis and reporting, with a strong understanding of data metrics and operational processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and formula auditing. Experience with SQL and SAS.
