Senior HubSpot Website & Growth Consultant – Contract, Remote

Rate: $70 per hour (1099) Commitment: ~75 hours per month Engagement Length: 6 months (450-hour cap) Location: Remote — overlap U.S. business hours and respond to client questions within 2 hours (4 hours max) on working days Why This Role Martus Solutions is investing in its HubSpot-hosted website as a core growth engine — not just a marketing site. This role owns the technical SEO foundation, content architecture, UX optimization, and marketing system integrity required to improve search visibility, AI discoverability, and demo conversion. You’ll act as the primary owner of the HubSpot CMS and website growth roadmap, translating a detailed audit into execution. This is a hands-on, senior role for someone who understands how SEO, UX, and HubSpot automation work together to drive measurable pipeline impact. What You’ll Do Own the HubSpot Website End-to-End

  • Manage and optimize the HubSpot CMS, templates, pages, modules, and site settings.
  • Implement and validate structured data (schema) for organizations, software, FAQs, and priority pages.
  • Ensure crawlability, indexing, metadata, and semantic markup meet modern SEO and AI-readiness standards.

Execute Technical SEO & System Fixes

  • Connect and manage Google Search Console within HubSpot.
  • Resolve crawl, indexing, and structured data issues.
  • Diagnose and repair HubSpot–ON24 integration issues affecting attribution, scoring, and automation.
  • Validate data flow, field mappings, and behavioral signals across systems.

Build Scalable Content Architecture

  • Design and implement SEO topic clusters aligned to buyer intent.
  • Support pillar page strategy and internal linking architecture.
  • Configure HubSpot SEO tools to surface keyword and performance insights.
  • Enable long-term content scalability without requiring constant rework.

Optimize Conversion Paths

  • Improve homepage messaging, CTAs, and visual hierarchy.
  • Optimize demo request and high-intent pages for reduced friction and higher conversion.
  • Apply SaaS UX and CRO best practices across desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Recommend and implement trust signals, urgency cues, and layout improvements.

Refine Lead Scoring & Automation

  • Audit and redesign HubSpot lead scoring models tied to web behavior, demos, and webinars.
  • Recalibrate MQL thresholds and automation triggers.
  • QA workflows and scoring with sample leads to ensure sales-ready accuracy.
  • Document logic clearly for future reference and maintenance.

Advise, Communicate, and Document

  • Translate technical work into clear updates and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Provide training and documentation for maintaining SEO clusters and website standards.
  • Respond to client questions within 2 hours during U.S. business hours and provide next steps within 1 business day.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS and Marketing Hub.
  • Deep technical SEO knowledge (structured data, crawlability, metadata, indexing).
  • Proven experience optimizing HubSpot-hosted websites for B2B SaaS or technology companies.
  • Strong understanding of UX, CRO, and SaaS conversion best practices.
  • Experience diagnosing and fixing marketing platform integrations (e.g., webinar platforms, analytics tools).
  • Ability to independently execute complex website and systems work without hand-holding.
  • Clear, confident communicator in client-facing environments.

Nice-to-Haves

  • HubSpot CMS, Marketing, or SEO certifications.
  • Experience with ON24 or similar webinar platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM content discoverability and schema-driven optimization.
  • Background working with regulated or enterprise B2B industries (e.g., compliance, finance, govtech).

  • Martus’ website is fully crawlable, indexed, and enriched with validated structured data.
  • SEO topic clusters are live, measurable, and scalable.
  • Demo and lead conversion rates improve from existing traffic.
  • Webinar and behavioral engagement data reliably flows into HubSpot.
  • Lead scoring accurately surfaces sales-ready leads.
  • Stakeholders receive fast, clear responses and actionable guidance.
  • The website operates as a durable growth asset — not a bottleneck.
