Experienced Customer Service Representative – Mortgage Loan Origination Support

As a key member of our Inside Loan Agent Division, the Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in making outbound calls and communicating with customers regarding initial interest in a home loan refinance or new home mortgage loan. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging in conversation and establishing rapport with customers via email and outbound telephone communication
  • Inquiring and gathering information as it relates to a customer's financial situation and financial goals
  • Educating both customers and loan officers about next steps for a customer's file
  • Setting realistic expectations for both loan officers and customers in order to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Inputting data into our computer system as it relates to information gathered for the mortgage loan
  • Disposing of customer files appropriately depending on the interest and ability of customers to proceed with being connected with a Loan Officer to continue the loan origination process
  • Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service, call center, or sales experience
  • The ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A passion for helping customers achieve their financial goals

Desired Education/Experience

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • One or more years of office or inside customer service/call center experience
  • 1 or more years of experience working in the mortgage or real estate industry
  • 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred

  • Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a keyboard
  • Verbally communicate to exchange information

Experience Level

We're looking for candidates with 1 year of experience in a call center environment, with a focus on outbound calls and customer service.

Shift

Our ideal candidate will be available to work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends as needed.
