Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Part Time Flexible Customer Care Representative to join our team. As a customer-facing representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service, resolving customer inquiries, and driving sales growth. Your expertise in handling inbound phone-based customer service, managing relationships, and generating additional sales will be essential in delivering top-notch support to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inbound phone-based customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage relationships with customers, generating additional sales by up-selling and cross-selling our products and services
  • Process orders, handle returns, and perform various administrative tasks as required
  • Communicate with customers regarding all aspects of purchasing, owning, and returning our products, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience
  • Simultaneously manage multiple computer applications and technology tools, efficiently navigating Windows (MS Office) programs like Outlook and Excel
  • Achieve detailed knowledge of our products and policies, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide expert service to our customers
  • Adapt to frequent changes in policy, product offerings, and Call Center operations, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn

Essential Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Two (2) years of in-bound, phone-based customer service and sales experience, strongly preferred
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to effectively use technology tools and resources required to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the job
  • Experience working in Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and accurately record information
  • Proven customer service skills, with the ability to provide top-notch, outstanding customer service to our customers
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger and highly supportive team
  • Ability to sit at a computer and work on the phone for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the e-learning or education industry
  • Knowledge of sales and customer service principles, with a focus on driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively

Requirements for Remote Work

  • Secure home office environment, free from background noise and distractions, conducive to phone-based customer service support
  • Reliable high-speed internet ISP connections, with minimum upload/download speeds of 10 megabits per second
  • Schedule flexibility to work the required hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Training and Development

We offer an in-depth, fully paid 2.5-week training program to all selected candidates, providing the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. The training schedule is 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, and is designed to equip you with the expertise and confidence to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
