Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Ergonomics and Health Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing procedures to reduce the risk of worker injuries and aircraft damage
- Supporting the development and execution of large-scale innovation projects related to ergonomic improvement
- Leading and assisting in ergonomic-related research across the organization
- Managing daily tasks and overseeing existing projects related to Health and Ergonomics
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address health and safety concerns
- Analyzing data and developing recommendations to improve safety and health outcomes
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Industrial Health, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Aviation, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
- Familiarity with data representation tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a similar role or industry
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards
- Familiarity with task management tools and software
- Certification in ergonomics or a related field
