Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Assistant to join our team, responsible for collecting, organizing, and updating data in our company's databases. As a key liaison between our employees, departments, and clients, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our data, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and correcting errors to ensure accuracy
  • Organizing and optimizing data capture to ensure swift and accurate entry
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in an organized manner for easy retrieval
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and handling additional duties as required
  • Collaborating with employees, departments, and clients to collect information and resolve data-related issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, customer service, or administrative support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees, departments, and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient touch-typing skills and a strong command of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working with databases and data management software
  • Knowledge of data entry best practices and industry standards
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's existing software and systems
  • Experience working in a remote or flexible work environment
