Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our remote workforce and contribute to the success of arenaflex. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for capturing and updating data into our relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You'll work closely with employees and customers to collect information, identify and correct errors, and ensure that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Liaising with employees and customers to collect information and data
  • Capturing and updating data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner
  • Identifying and correcting errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
  • Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information and correcting errors
  • Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored securely
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
  • Handling additional duties from time to time as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
  • A good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with data backup and security procedures
