Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our remote workforce and contribute to the success of arenaflex. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for capturing and updating data into our relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You'll work closely with employees and customers to collect information, identify and correct errors, and ensure that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:
- Liaising with employees and customers to collect information and data
- Capturing and updating data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner
- Identifying and correcting errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
- Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
- Scanning through information to identify pertinent information and correcting errors
- Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
- Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
- Ensuring data is backed up and stored securely
- Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
- Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
- Handling additional duties from time to time as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
- A good command of English, both written and spoken
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
- Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
- Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with data backup and security procedures
