Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Customer Service Representative to work in a remote environment, with a 3rd shift schedule from 11pm to 7am. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and helping customers with any questions. You will also be responsible for analyzing, appraising, and verifying loan applicants, as well as originating loans and making payment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities and duties:

  • Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to customers and potential clients
  • Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts
  • Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions
  • Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively, and listening to and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally
  • Maintaining a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers
  • Following written and/or verbal instructions and working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Processing card payments accurately and performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems
  • Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan and following up with customers to clarify important points
  • Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of rules and obligations
  • Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services
  • Creating and renewing records and identifying customer needs, exploring all options available to customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and change quickly with the needs of the company
  • Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously
  • Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential and preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations
  • Proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems
  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED and preferred education and/or experience in a related field
  • Proficient use of MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and proficient user of the Internet and cloud-based storage
