Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, clients, and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while maintaining our company's reputation for high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

* Interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service

  • Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients
  • Work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications
  • Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure our patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies
  • Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information
  • Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education
  • Routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone

  • 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting

  • Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

Compensation and Perks

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
