Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us build robust, flexible, and secure data pipelines. As a key member of our Security and Legal Information Designing team, you'll work with various data technologies, including Java, Python, Scala, Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink, and Kafka, to design and implement data pipelines that meet our high standards of data protection and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
- Develop a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at arenaflex from a security perspective
- Collaborate with security designing teams to understand product objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to user and regulatory data requests
- Maintain and refine existing datasets and pipelines
- Join a dynamic team of data engineers who are passionate about improving our data protection and reducing legal and regulatory risk
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in programming and data engineering
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala
- Strong understanding of advanced SQL concepts
- Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
- Ability to take requirements and implement adaptable data models and pipelines
- Strong passion for data-driven decision making and a commitment to data protection and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
