Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional support and guidance to help them navigate our services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients to provide overall savings and improve health outcomes.
  • Conducting generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient and Specialty Projects Team.
  • Effectively handling incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information.
  • Providing customer education and routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing and processing new referrals.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.

  • Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients to provide overall savings and improve health outcomes.
  • Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient and Specialty Projects Team.

Essential Qualifications

* 1 year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.

  • 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application.
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.

  • Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing and processing new referrals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and partners.
