Key Responsibilities

• Models and conveys a positive and exceptional customer experience, ensuring that all interactions are friendly, fair, and efficient.
• Registers sales on assigned sales register, provides customers with affable and productive checkout service, and resolves customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests upsell and/or companion items to enhance the shopping experience.
• Registers customer purchases on assigned sales register, collects cash and dispenses change as needed, and processes voids, returns, IOUs, refunds, and exchanges as required.
• Maintains counters and retires clean and well-promoted, takes inventory, and keeps records up-to-date.
• Checks in and prices stock as required or as directed by the head manager or shift leader.
• Executes organization resource protection policies to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., liquor and tobacco products).
• Develops and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock, and completes resets and updates as directed.
• Assists with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves).
• Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, banner print and creative machine, and sale of promotional photo items.
• Takes on web pick obligations (screens orders in Picture Care Plus, picks items, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store).
• Assists with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and deliberate store environment and appearance.
• Follows all organization policies and procedures and maintains respectful relationships with colleagues.
• Completes special tasks and other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Previous work experience with arenaflex is an asset.
• Ability to communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico) is preferred.
• Eagerness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
