Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

  • Providing technical support to content and external teams in regards to the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and optimal tool performance
  • Creating reference materials and delivering training sessions to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, promoting efficiency and productivity
  • Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows, escalating complex problems to the tool development team as needed, and collaborating with production to track issues in JIRA
  • Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality, contributing to the development of best practices and standards
  • Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, fostering collaboration and creativity
  • Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, upholding the highest standards of excellence and integrity

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles and practices
  • Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a proven track record of providing effective technical support and ensuring optimal system performance
  • Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a solid understanding of game development principles and practices
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with the ability to effectively utilize these tools to track and manage issues
  • iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a strong understanding of mobile development principles and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and stakeholders
  • A positive attitude and the ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously, and a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of developing high-quality software solutions
  • Ability to read and understand C# code, with a strong foundation in programming principles and practices
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams, with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
