Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community by enforcing our community guidelines, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, ban users with repeat offenses, and mute users who have violated our rules.
• Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take necessary actions to resolve the issue.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up-to-date with our community guidelines and rules, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

Essential Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and community building.
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools is a plus.
