As a Director of Data Science, you will lead the Global Data Strategy group within Risk Finance, driving the development and implementation of centralized reporting capabilities, process enhancements, and automation to provide actionable insights and analytics for the wider Risk Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Data Science, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance
• Owning precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and becoming a subject matter expert of the applicable tools (troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancements and automation possibilities, and train other customers to drive adoption)
• Developing and maintaining preferred and ad-hoc reports used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; providing credit-associated analytical support
• Developing and presenting key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management
• Building and maintaining relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.
• Providing decision-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities in the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Advanced experience working with a combination of the following: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1
• Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
• Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions
• Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines
• Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes
• A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals
• Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in ML modeling is a plus. Additionally, experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly, plus bonus, equity (if relevant), and benefits. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
