Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our remote team, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, and providing empathetic and personalized service to our customers. You will also be responsible for heavy data entry, gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information, and working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to provide exceptional customer service and support

  • Provide empathetic and personalized service to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Heavy data entry, including gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information
  • Work with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
  • Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* At least 1 year of recent Call Center experience (no exceptions)

  • Medical Call Center experience is a plus but not required
  • Active internet connection and ability to work from home
  • Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
  • Great work attitude and willingness to help others
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
