What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Medical Equipment Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating with patients/clients and referral sources to address questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Processing all patient information and paperwork for durable medical equipment and respiratory products
  • Maintaining accurate records, including updating the respiratory grid and managing referral logs
  • Verifying insurance coverage information for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance
  • Providing technical assistance to customers and assisting with retail/walk-in equipment requests

What is Required (Qualifications)

  • A High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A valid driver's license in the state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
