The Role
As an experienced data analyst intern, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of service excellence while enjoying the flexibility of remote work and competitive compensation. You'll contribute to our globally renowned streaming platform by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive analysis of current transactional digital marketplaces to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
- Research and analyze industry developments and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces to stay ahead of the curve
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and refine aggressive pricing strategies
- Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capability situations
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts
- Collaborate with teams across departments to identify business opportunities and challenges
- Present findings and recommendations in meetings and presentations to stakeholders
Qualifications
* Strong interest in working within the entertainment industry
- Passion for global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/setter) experience
- Ability to live in the L. location during the internship (relocation and housing guide will be provided, if applicable)
- Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently
- Attention to detail and ability to practice sound judgment
- Curious about learning new technology and workflows
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion while being privy to sensitive information
