Machine Learning Engineer Intern (USDS) - 2026 Summer (BS/MS)
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. They are seeking an intern for the Tech and Product team of TikTok USDS to empower users with strong data security and privacy protections while gaining hands-on experience in developing machine learning models and tools.
Responsibilities
- Build ML models (clustering, graph mining, sequence, LLM) and data mining tools, analyzing user behaviors and attack patterns for risk control detection and mitigation
- Or build recall models for users in support of our recommendations systems to ensure better user experience across devices
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Experience writing code in Java, Go, Python or a similar language
- Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after completion of the internships
