Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is offering a Summer 2026 Internship focused on Technology & Digital Solutions. The role involves driving innovation in population health management, conducting research, enhancing digital communication, and implementing automated solutions for governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Independently research and analyze data from internal and external sources
  • Interface with clinicians, employees, and other leaders of the organization to understand perspectives and/or share findings
  • Draft deliverables and other project related materials (e.g., meeting agendas, project work plans, action item logs)
  • Present project findings and results to internal audiences

Skills

  • Strong analytical and research capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience with digital content creation
  • Ability to work independently on complex, evolving projects
  • Interest in population health and healthcare policy
  • Programming experience in Python or similar languages
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with automation platforms and AI tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Interest in healthcare operations and governance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University
  • Entering or enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited College or University for Fall 2019
  • For IT Intern roles: currently enrolled in undergrad or grad program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to discuss and solve complex problems in area of expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to create direction and work plans for day-to-day and project work
  • Basic knowledge of health care technology and basic business technology
