Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from the public and providing assistance with various health-related inquiries. You will utilize multiple databases and written materials to look up and provide information to telephone inquiries, ensuring that customers receive accurate and helpful support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting established contractual turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer calls, providing timely and accurate support for health-related inquiries
  • Utilize various databases and written materials to research and provide information to customers
  • Effectively communicate with customers, ensuring that their needs are met and concerns are addressed
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve customer service goals and objectives
  • Meet established contractual turnaround times, ensuring that customer inquiries are resolved efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, as required

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum six (6) months customer service, administrative, or call center experience required
  • Ability to speak English clearly and professionally
  • Bi-lingual candidates will receive priority consideration
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a PC and a Windows environment required
  • Ability to effectively work within established contractual turnaround times
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a team

Work from Home Requirements

This is a 100% work-from-home position, and as such, you will be required to have the following equipment and meet the minimum requirements:

  • Desktop or laptop with Windows 10, Intel Core i5 processor or higher, 8GM Memory, 256 GB Hard Drive, and minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer
  • Headset connection hard-wired (not wireless)
  • Hard-wired internet connection (cannot use Wi-Fi)
  • 1 RJ-45 for wired network connection
  • Dedicated office space that is free from interruptions, mimicking an in-office environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection, with a minimum speed requirement of 25/25 mbps
  • 2 monitors
