About the Role

As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in assisting customers with ticketing, merchandise purchases, password resets, website assistance, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:
- Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them with the same care and attention you would give to your own
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize customer requests, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems
- Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them to management without hesitation, ensuring seamless resolution
- Manage multiple chats simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in your responses
- Accurately document all required information and chat details in our ticketing system, ensuring seamless follow-up and follow-through
- Respond to and resolve open issues in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations and exceeding them whenever possible
- Identify trends related to systems, platforms, and customers, escalating them to management to drive continuous improvement
- Multitask using multiple systems, adapting to changing priorities and tasks with ease and composure
- Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring seamless coverage and support for our customers
- Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions, embodying the arenaflex spirit and values
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A genuine love for music, with a strong knowledge of current artists and trends in the Pop and Country genres
- 3-5 years of call center chat experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Technical experience, with a strong preference for experience with Zendesk or similar platforms
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy or above, consistently meeting productivity and quality standards
- Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and a great understanding of text and chat acronyms
- Excellent grammar and the ability to adapt your tone and language to suit different customer interactions
- Previous work-from-home experience, with a self-motivated and disciplined approach to your work
- Understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement, driving continuous growth and development
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices
Hardware and Software Requirements:
To work with us, you'll need:
- Your own computer, meeting our minimum specifications (processor: 4 cores or more, memory: 8GB on Windows 10 or higher / 10 64 bits, screen resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required)
- A USB headset, for clear and concise communication with customers
- Up-to-date antivirus software, installed and regularly updated on your platform
- A hardwired connection to your router, ensuring stable and secure connectivity
- A firewall enabled, protecting your system and our customers' data

- A competitive hourly rate of $18.00, paid as a 1099 contract
- Guaranteed 25 hours per week, with the potential to flex up to 40 hours per week based on client needs and workflow
- Flexible scheduling, with shifts varying between 9:00am-6:00pm EST, and weekends may be required by the client
