Your Role: Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional phone service to all members and potential members. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate, courteous, friendly, timely, and professional phone service to all members and potential members
- Assisting members with general service requests, such as:
+ Opening and closing accounts + Financial transactions + Problem-solving + Plastic card requests + Address changes + CDs and check ordering + Educating members on products and services offered by arenaflex
- Following up on service requests, forms completion, return phone calls, mailing/emailing requested documentation, and research required to resolve issues
- Identifying transactions, verifying funds, account availability, and research requests
- Assisting and instructing members on the use of electronic services, such as:
+ Home banking + Anywhere Audio + Estatements + Bill pay + Mobile banking + Website usage
- Protecting member assets and account information
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or higher
- Previous customer service experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:
- One or more years of similar or related experience in a call center setting
- Previous financial institution experience
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
- Experience efficiently researching accounts and reaching a resolution
- Active listening skills
