Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls with efficiency, courtesy, and a customer-centric approach
  • Following conversation prompts and scripts when handling different topics, while also exercising your critical thinking skills to provide personalized solutions
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying their information, researching their issues, and providing solutions and/or alternatives to solve their problems
  • Seizing opportunities to upsell products when they arise, while maintaining a customer-focused approach
  • Building sustainable relationships and engaging customers by going the extra mile when possible
  • Maintaining accessible, comprehensive records of all conversations in our call center database
  • Attending educational seminars to improve your knowledge and performance level
  • Meeting or exceeding personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, including active listening skills
  • Comfortability with CRM systems and best practices
  • An empathetic customer focus, with the flexibility to manage many different personality types
  • The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • A high school degree (or equivalent)

Essential Qualifications

While a degree is not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or similar platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

If you have:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software or systems
  • A degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or customer service
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience with data analysis or reporting
