User Acquisition Manager (PawChamp)

Description

  • Own the growth engine for PawChamp, Skelar’s fast-scaling Petcare brand, by designing and executing high-impact user-acquisition campaigns on Meta Ads that will put our dog-training app in front of millions of pet parents across Tier-1 markets.
  • Allocate and re-allocate six-figure monthly budgets in real time, balancing aggressive scale with strict efficiency targets (CAC ≤ $X, ROAS ≥ Y%) while protecting LTV and payback windows.
  • Run a rigorous experimentation engine: launch 20+ A/B tests per week across audiences, creatives, bidding strategies and placements; document learnings in a shared playbook that becomes the gold standard for future campaigns.
  • Dive deep into performance data—LTV curves, cohort retention, funnel drop-offs, attribution windows—and translate numbers into clear, actionable insights for the Creative, Product and Finance teams.
  • Reverse-engineer competitor funnels, dissect their ad libraries, and import winning angles into PawChamp’s own creative pipeline, always staying one step ahead in a crowded pet-care market.
  • Partner with our in-house Creative Team to brief thumb-stopping UGC, static and video assets; iterate rapidly based on CTR, hook rate and thumb-stop metrics to keep frequency fatigue below 1.8.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics to build automated Looker Studio dashboards that surface daily KPIs and flag anomalies before they hit the P&L.
  • Work side-by-side with MarTech to implement server-side tracking, CAPI and privacy-compliant measurement so that iOS privacy changes never blind-side our growth curve.
  • Feed real-world insights back to Product Marketing—pricing tests, onboarding friction points, feature adoption patterns—so that every new release is pre-validated by paid traffic learnings.
  • Contribute to PawChamp’s annual growth model, quarterly OKRs and monthly board decks, presenting results with the same rigor you apply to campaign optimization.
  • Level-up continuously through Skelar’s internal marketing guilds, external conferences (you pick the event, we cover the ticket) and peer-to-peer knowledge exchanges with founders who have already scaled apps to 10 M+ users.
  • Champion Skelar’s charitable mission by dedicating 1% of campaign spend to pro-bono ads that promote dog-adoption initiatives in Ukraine, turning performance skills into social impact.
  • Enjoy full remote flexibility while staying synced via Slack, Notion and Monday.com; we care about outcomes, not timecards.

Requirements

  • Upper-Intermediate+ English (written and spoken) to brief international creative teams and present to US-based stakeholders
  • Quantitative background: degree or strong self-taught foundation in economics, mathematics, physics, statistics or similar exact science
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset—comfortable manipulating large datasets in Google Sheets, Excel or SQL to derive insights that drive budget decisions
  • Hands-on experience creating, managing and optimizing campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager (even if budgets were modest or for personal projects)
  • Nice-to-have: proven track record driving profitable traffic in the United States or other Tier-1 geos, plus familiarity with pet-care or mobile-app verticals
