Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our official Discord server. This part-time, remote position requires a flexible and tech-savvy individual who can effectively manage online interactions, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive community atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules

• Delete messages made by users that violate our community guidelines and rules
• Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
• Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies
• Provide excellent customer service and support to our community members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest community guidelines and rules, and adapt to changes as needed

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain a neutral and impartial stance in online interactions
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience as a Chat Moderator or in a similar role

• Knowledge of community guidelines and rules development
• Familiarity with online safety and security best practices
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
