Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing best-in-class customer service to arenaflex's various lines of business, including Student Enrollment Management, Alumni Placement Verification Services, and Default Management. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer calls, with a focus on outbound calls to students of arenaflex's clients
  • Providing clear verbal and written communications to assist customers with repayment of their educational obligations
  • Utilizing CRM systems to track customer interactions and resolve technical inquiries
  • Following policies and procedures regarding escalations and updates to customer records
  • Initiating calls to Federal loan servicers to resolve repayment options for customers with Federal student loans
  • Comprehending training material on a variety of topics and sharing new concepts and content with colleagues
  • Adhering to all federal and state laws governing the industry, as well as client Statement of Work standards and company guidelines and policies
  • Attaining all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals

What You Need to Succeed

To be a successful Customer Service Representative, you'll need:

  • A passion for customer service and a desire to make a difference in people's lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with customers
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A self-starter mentality, with a high degree of internal motivation and a willingness to learn and grow
  • The ability to operate and navigate various technical devices and systems, including CRM software and other tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common computer issues

Training and Development

As a new hire, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in this role. Our training schedule includes:

  • Two weeks of training, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm CST
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow and develop your skills

Education and Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
  • A strong passion for customer service and a desire to make a difference in people's lives
